The legendary Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, located on the outskirts of Imola, hosted the third and final FIA Formula 3 post-season test. Campos Racing took part in both days with its already confirmed 2026 line-up of Ugo Ugochukwu, Théophile Naël and Ernesto Rivera. Ugochukwu, who had previously set the overall fastest times in both Jerez and Barcelona, once again displayed his impressive form in Imola by producing strong lap times in both wet and dry conditions. Meanwhile, Frenchman Naël and Mexican driver Rivera completed valuable mileage as they adapted to the ever-changing weather at the Italian circuit. Altogether, the Alzira-based team’s drivers completed a total of 293 laps over the two days.

Tuesday began with a fully wet track, and it took almost two hours before most drivers ventured out of their garages. On the slippery surface, it was Ugochukwu who set the benchmark with a best time of 1m47.411s. Naël also featured near the top of the timesheets with a 1m47.856s lap, while Rivera completed the top ten with a personal best of 1m48.253s. In the afternoon, with the track drying out but still not in ideal condition, lap times improved significantly. Ugochukwu posted a 1m33.939s, closely followed by Naël on 1m34.126s and Rivera with 1m34.308s.

Wednesday brought dry running throughout the day. Despite several red flag interruptions, the Campos Racing trio consistently featured among the leading positions during the morning session. By midday, Ugochukwu was fifth with a 1m32.148s lap, ahead of Naël (1m32.356s) and Rivera (1m32.433s) in his Red Bull-liveried F3 car. The afternoon session, as usual, was slightly slower, though Rivera climbed to eighth overall with a 1m32.978s, followed closely by Ugochukwu (1m33.124s) and Naël (1m33.150s).

The coming weeks will be key to analysing all the data gathered in recent tests and to continue preparing for an exciting 2026 season in which Campos Racing will defend the FIA Formula 3 Teams’ Championship title.
