Campos Racing will be present this week for the three days of official pre-season testing organised by FIA Formula 3 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The tests, which will get underway on Tuesday and conclude on Thursday, will see all three Campos Racing cars on track. However, the team has been forced to introduce a last-minute change to its driver line-up due to force majeure circumstances.

Ernesto Rivera, who has already been confirmed alongside Ugo Ugochukwu and Théophile Naël for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 season, will be unable to take part in driving duties on this occasion as he is still recovering from back pain sustained during the final round of the Formula Regional Oceania Trophy in New Zealand. As a result, Australian driver Patrick Heuzenroeder will join Ugochukwu and Naël for the Barcelona test.

Heuzenroeder, who will compete in Eurocup-3 this year representing GriffinCore Campos Racing, will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience at the wheel of the Formula 3 car and contribute to fine-tuning the car set-up alongside his team-mates and engineers.
