The next two weekends promise to be crucial in the battle for the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship. The third step on the FIA’s single-seater ladder faces its penultimate and antepenultimate rounds at Spa-Francorchamps and the Hungaroring on back-to-back weekends. The trio of Nikola Tsolov, Mari Boya and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak is proving to be the most competitive line-up on the grid, as reflected by Campos Racing's position at the top of the teams’ standings.

This season has delivered results that reward the hard work of Campos Racing’s drivers, engineers, and mechanics. Four wins and six podiums shared among Tsolov, Boya, and Inthraphuvasak have allowed the Spanish outfit to lead the overall standings with 209 points. The goal is now to solidify and, if possible, increase that advantage over the next two weekends.

In the drivers' championship, Tsolov sits third with 91 points, just two behind second-placed Tim Tramnitz, and with his sights set on closing the gap to leader Rafael Câmara. The “Bulgarian Lion” has claimed two victories so far this season, including a memorable one through the streets of Monaco. With three pole positions to his name, Tsolov will be aiming to convert another into victory at Spa, having been denied that chance at both the Red Bull Ring and Silverstone due to various circumstances.

The second half of the season has seen Boya hit peak form. After scoring his first podium of 2025 in Monaco, the Spaniard from Les finished third again in Sunday’s race at Spielberg, where he also picked up the bonus point for fastest lap. Selected for the Aston Martin F1 Driver Development Programme, Boya went on to finish third in Silverstone’s Saturday race before claiming a flawless win in Sunday’s Feature Race. He currently holds fourth place in the standings with 85 points.

Inthraphuvasak joined the list of winners earlier this month in Great Britain, delivering a brilliant drive to climb to the top step of the podium. The Thai driver has already shown flashes of his talent on several occasions this season, finishing fourth both at the Red Bull Ring and Albert Park Circuit.

Now, attention turns to Spa-Francorchamps—the longest circuit on the FIA F3 calendar and one of the most challenging, with its constant elevation changes. Spanning 7.004 km through the lush forests between Belgium and Germany, Spa-Francorchamps is a motorsport icon. With more than a century of history behind it, anything can happen at Spa—from unpredictable weather that can bring rain to one part of the track and sunshine to another, to thrillingly close racing through corners with evocative names such as Eau Rouge-Raidillon, Bruxelles, or Stavelot. In short, it’s a festival of speed and adrenaline.

Free practice and qualifying will take place on Friday at 09:00 and 14:00 respectively. The Sprint Race is scheduled for Saturday at 09:15, while the Feature Race will be held on Sunday at 08:30.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “We are now entering the decisive phase of the season, where every result—positive or negative—carries more weight as we get closer to the end. After Belgium and Hungary, only the final two races in Monza will remain in September. We're taking it one race at a time, aiming to score as many points as possible to defend our lead in the teams' championship and challenge for the drivers’ title, where we have two strong contenders in Nikola and Mari. With Tasanapol now also a race winner, he’ll surely be another one to watch among the frontrunners at Spa-Francorchamps.”
