The 2025 F4 Spain season continues this coming weekend with its second round, taking place at Circuito de Navarra in Los Arcos. Drivers from Griffin Core by Campos and Campos Racing head into the event aiming to build on a strong curtain-raiser event held just over a month ago at Motorland Aragón. All three race wins that weekend went to Griffin Core by Campos drivers, with the rest of the team also performing at a high level across the board.

Undoubtedly, it was Thomas Strauven and Jan Przyrowski who stole the spotlight in Alcañiz. Although Poland’s Przyrowski claimed two victories, it is his Belgian teammate who currently leads the standings. Strauven has 45 points thanks to his win in the first race and a third-place finish in the final one. Przyrowski won the second (a shorter race, and therefore worth fewer points) and the third race, placing him just two points behind Strauven with 43. Both Griffin Core by Campos drivers will undoubtedly be key contenders to watch in Navarra. Matúš Ryba, piloting another Tatuus chassis in Griffin Core by Campos colors, will be looking to score his first points of the season after falling just short in his comeback drives at Aragón.

As for Campos Racing’s trio of Noah Monteiro, Vivek Kanthan, and Miguel Costa, they too will be aiming for top positions. Monteiro, the Portuguese driver and son of a former F1 driver, showed impressive pace by claiming pole position for the first race and finishing fourth and sixth in the remaining two. Monteiro currently holds fifth in the standings and is the top rookie, followed closely by his teammate Kanthan, who is second among rookies with 18 points—just two behind. Brazilian driver Costa placed seventh and ninth, scoring valuable points in his debut outing in the championship.

In the teams’ standings, Griffin Core by Campos sits second with 43 points, while Campos Racing is in fourth place with 24.

Despite being geographically close, Circuito de Navarra differs greatly from Motorland Aragón. The 4.313-kilometer Los Arcos track is tighter and more technical, featuring a series of linked corners that give drivers little respite. After a multi-million-euro renovation, the circuit now boasts 17 turns, with turns 2 and 9 offering the best overtaking opportunities. Weather forecasts predict spring-like temperatures on Saturday, while rain is expected to impact Sunday’s action.

The schedule begins with free practice sessions on Saturday morning. Qualifying 1 starts at 12:50, followed by Race 1 at 15:50 (30 minutes + 1 lap). On Sunday, drivers return to the track at 09:00 for Qualifying 2. Race 2 (25 minutes + 1 lap) begins at 12:10, and the weekend concludes with Race 3 at 14:45 (30 minutes + 1 lap). All sessions will be streamed live on the championship’s official YouTube channel. All times are local (Spanish time).

Adrián Campos (Team Principal, Campos Racing): “We arrive in Navarra with Thomas and Jan leading the standings after sharing the three victories in Alcañiz. This weekend at Los Arcos promises to be just as exciting as the season opener, albeit at a track with very different characteristics. It’s a technical circuit where overtaking is no easy task, so qualifying becomes even more crucial. I’m confident all our drivers are aiming for the podium in Navarra.”

Vivek Kanthan (Campos Racing Driver in F4 Spain): “We’ve shown good pace at this track previously, so I’m feeling confident heading into the weekend.”
