The 2025 FIA Formula 3 season enters its European leg this weekend at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the venue for the third round of the championship as part of the Emilia-Romagna F1 Grand Prix. Campos Racing will field its three-car line-up featuring Nikola Tsolov, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Mari Boya, all of whom have the potential to fight for top positions on Italian soil.

After the first two rounds in Australia and Bahrain, Tsolov sits fifth in the drivers' standings with 23 points. Known as the 'Bulgarian Lion,' Tsolov secured his first victory of the season in the Saturday race at Sakhir, where he delivered a stunning comeback, taking the lead and then expertly managing his rivals to cross the line as the winner. That result, combined with a fifth and an eighth-place finish, firmly places the Red Bull-backed driver among the championship contenders.

Inthraphuvasak shone brightly in Melbourne, where the Thai driver delivered two standout performances, finishing fourth and seventh. After a more challenging outing in Sakhir, where he started mid-pack, Inthraphuvasak will be looking to rediscover his best form in Imola and climb from his current tenth place in the standings.

Boya, meanwhile, was hindered by a difficult qualifying position in both Melbourne races but remained relentless, scoring his first points of the season in Bahrain. The Spaniard's persistence paid off with an eighth-place finish, rewarding a determined comeback. As a driver familiar with the twists and turns of Imola, Boya will be one to watch in this third round of 2025.

Campos Racing currently holds third place in the teams' standings with 40 points, but the squad has the potential to move up the order if the next two races go according to plan.

Imola is one of the most iconic circuits on the FIA Formula 3 calendar, comparable to legendary venues like Monaco, Silverstone, and Spa-Francorchamps. Inaugurated in the early 1950s, Imola boasts corners like Tamburello, Tosa, and Acque Minerali, which have been the stage for both thrilling and tragic moments in motorsport history. The track is known for its medium downforce requirements and relatively mild tire wear, but a strong qualifying performance is crucial, as overtaking is notoriously difficult.

Free practice and qualifying will take place on Friday at 09:55 and 15:05 respectively. The sprint race is scheduled for Saturday at 10:05, with the feature race set for Sunday at 08:30. All times are in Spanish time.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): "We opened our victory account in Bahrain and we'll be fighting to continue that momentum at Imola, a track that most of the grid know well. We've historically performed well here, and we're confident that 2025 will be no exception. We'll be putting all our experience and expertise to work to ensure our drivers leave Imola on Sunday afternoon with the maximum points haul possible."
