After a month-long pause due to the opening three rounds being held outside Europe, the 2025 FIA Formula 2 Championship returns to the continent for its fourth round of the season. So far, the campaign has been highly promising for Campos Racing and its driver pairing of Pepe Martí and Arvid Lindblad. Both young talents, carrying the iconic Red Bull colors on their Formula 2 cars, have already tasted victory at least once this season.

Martí has scored points in every race so far, including a remarkable comeback to finish eighth in the Melbourne sprint race. Following the cancellation of the Australian Sunday race due to a massive downpour, Martí claimed his first victory of 2025 in the Bahrain sprint race. He also took fourth in the main race in Sakhir and then secured second and fifth in the two Jeddah Corniche Circuit races, earning a solid 41 points, which currently place him second in the drivers' standings.

Lindblad, meanwhile, is living up to the pre-season expectations that marked him as one of the rookies to watch. After a promising start in Australia, where he already broke into the top ten, the young Brit has scored points in four consecutive races across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, including a stunning maiden victory in the opening race at Jeddah. With a maturity and race management well beyond his rookie status, Lindblad sits seventh in the drivers' standings with 24 points.

As for the teams' standings, Campos Racing leads with 65 points, and the Alzira-based outfit aims to extend this advantage over the coming rounds.

The Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari needs little introduction, as any motorsport fan is familiar with its rich history. Located in the heart of Italy's Emilia-Romagna region, the track first opened in 1953 and has hosted Formula 1 Grands Prix in three separate periods: from 1981 to 2006, from 2020 to 2022, and once again from 2024. Stretching 4.909 kilometers, Imola is characterized by its flowing corners, moderate lateral loads, and medium tire wear.

The weekend schedule kicks off on Friday with free practice at 11:05 and qualifying at 16:00. The sprint race is set for 14:15 on Saturday, while the feature race, with its mandatory pit stop for tire changes, takes place on Sunday at 10:00. All times are in Spanish time.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): "With two wins, including a one-two in Jeddah, and another podium in just six races, the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season is shaping up just as we hoped for Campos Racing. Imola marks the start of the European leg of the season. Last year, we took a win here, so we're heading into the weekend with solid reasons to be optimistic. Both the drivers' and teams' standings are incredibly tight right now, so maximizing points this weekend, where qualifying results and strategy will be even more critical."
