The third round of the all-female F1 Academy championship, which features seven events in total for the 2025 season, will take place this weekend in Miami. The U.S. circuit, known for attracting a host of celebrities every year, winds around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens and promises to deliver another thrilling chapter in the battle for the championship titles. Titles in which the Campos Racing drivers are playing a major role, with the Spanish team currently leading the teams’ standings and two of its drivers ranking among the top four in the overall classification.

Without a doubt, the Miami event will be the most anticipated race of the season for Chloe Chambers, who will be racing in front of her home crowd. The driver representing the Red Bull Ford Academy Programme sits third in the standings with 47 points, thanks to two second-place finishes and one third place in the four races held in Shanghai and Jeddah. Chambers was the first to cross the finish line on Sunday at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, but a five-second penalty dropped her to second. Nevertheless, bonus points for pole position and the fastest lap keep her very close to the championship lead.

British driver Alisha Palmowski is also in a strong position in the overall standings, currently sitting fourth with 36 points. The Red Bull Racing Academy Programme driver kicked off the season with a win in Saturday’s race in China and has scored points in every race since, including a third-place finish in Saturday’s race in Saudi Arabia. Like Chambers, Palmowski will be one to watch in Miami.

Rafaela Ferreira has been less fortunate so far. In Shanghai, she was handed a grid penalty but still managed to recover and finish in the points. In Jeddah, incidents in the midfield hindered her performance, preventing stronger results. Eager to bounce back, the Visa Cash App RB Academy driver is aiming for her best weekend yet in the category — and why not improve on the fifth place she secured in the first race in China? Despite the setbacks, Ferreira currently sits ninth in the standings.

As mentioned earlier, Campos Racing leads the teams’ standings with 91 points, and the entire Alzira-based squad is focused on extending its advantage in the championship.

The Miami International Autodrome is 5.412 kilometers long and runs through a mix of parking areas, public roads, and service lanes, comprising a total of 19 corners. As expected for a circuit of this nature, the asphalt is not particularly abrasive and does not place heavy lateral demands on the cars.

Unlike other rounds, two free practice sessions are scheduled for Friday at 16:05 and 21:20. On Saturday, qualifying will take place at 16:25, followed by the first race — with a reverse grid — at 20:55. The second race will be held on Sunday, starting at 19:05. All times are in Spanish time (CEST).

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): "The season has been very positive so far for the team overall, as shown by the victory and several podiums we've achieved. In fact, in every race, at least one of our drivers has finished on the podium. We're heading to Miami with great motivation to keep this momentum going. Chloe and Alisha have already made several podium appearances, and we hope Rafaela can join them soon — she certainly has the talent and determination to do so."
