Campos Racing trio of drivers in the GP3 Series will aim to extend its run of results next weekend at Monza
The GP3 Series will enter the decisive phase with its antepenultimate round of the season taking place at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza next weekend. After the well-known Italian venue there are only two rounds remaining at the Circuito de Jerez and the Yas Marina Circuit, the traditional season finale.
French Julien Falchero, South African Raoul Hyman and Argentinian Marcos Siebert won’t hesitate to fight at the front and slip into podium contention once again. A best result of fifth was achieved by Falchero starting from pole position last weekend at Spa. Both Hyman and Siebert experienced mechanical issues – DRS and engine’s oil pressure, respectively-, which prevented them from improving their results throughout the weekend.
Monza is a circuit dominated by long straights and teams adjust setup to provide low downforce. In this respect, braking and acceleration are particularly critical.
Friday´s free practice session will take place as usual in the afternoon. This time the qualifying is scheduled on Saturday morning. Both races will take place on Saturday (17.50 CET) and Sunday (09.00 CET).
