The driver of Campos Racing has achieved his second triumph in the Euroformula Open by winning Sunday race in France. He retakes championship lead. Baptista scores first point.
Campos concludes its participation at French Euroformula Open event in style, as Konstantin Tereschenko has taken crucial race win and still leads the drivers´ standings. In the morning, Tereschenko set pole position time – gaining an extra point, and another later in the race by clocking today´s fastest lap- after another brilliant performance. At noon, Tereschenko has battled during the entire race against Vitor Baptista and, despite he was passed by the Brazilian for a while, retook the lead before long and crossed the finish line as race winner.
Henrique Baptista was 10th, and Brazil´s race scored his first point this season. On the other hand Ahmed Al Ghanem was 5th in the rookies´ classification in spite of he was forced to pit once. Unfortunately Diego Menchaca retired as he was hit by another car at the start.
Tereschenko commands drivers´ rankings and Campos Racing lies second. Next stop at Estoril, on 9-10 May.
