Pulcini and Campos Racing also claim Spanish F3 title in Barcelona

Only a week after his title in the Euroformula F3, Pulcini and Campos Racing also clinched the Spanish F3 championship with another podium finish on Sunday at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where the season finale was held

Campos Racing and its driver line-up in the Euroformula F3 finished his racing season in the series in great fashion. Italy´s Leonardo Pulcini, Mexico´s Diego Menchaca, Ecuador´s Julio Moreno and Azerbaijan´s Gulhuseyn Abdullayev claimed all F3 titles for Adrián Campos´ team following another strong performance at season finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Pulcini, who secured the Euroformula F3 title in the previous week, also took triumph in the Spanish F3 championship. The rounds held in Estoril, Jerez and Barcelona counted towards the Spanish championship and the Alzira-based team rounded off their successful season with another crown.

Pulcini, Menchaca and Moreno took top-ten places on Thursday during private testing held the opening day and Friday saw the same positive trend delivered by Campos Racing drivers. On Saturday, Pulcini and Menchaca qualified third and fourth on the starting grid but unfortunately they were forced to pit following a clash on lap one later in the race. Moreno made it into the top-ten with a ninth place. Pulcini still set race 1´s fastest lap.

On Sunday, Pulcini took 3rd in wet Q2 and Menchaca also put a good performance in as he set 8th-fastest lap time. Pulcini took the lead at the start and finally brought 3rd place home. Menchaca finished 6th and Ecuadorian Moreno moved through the field to finish eleventh. Abdullayev came 14th.

At night, the GT Sport Awards took place in Barcelona and Pulcini and Campos Racing, represented by Adrián Campos Jr., collected their prizes for their displays. An excellent end to the season.
