The four-driver lineup of the Alzira-based team gets back on track next weekend for the antepenultimate round of the 2017 season
Campos Racing will contest Round 6 of the Euroformula F3 Open with their four drivers to stay in contention for the podium. Brazilian Thiago Vivacqua and Matheus Iorio, Finnish Simo Laaksonen and American Cameron Das still remain in with a fighting chance of defending the crown achieved last year.
Monza is the fastest track of the year on the Euroformula F3 Open calendar and gaps are expected to be even smaller. Last year, Campos Racing continued its streak of success with a double race win. These results are an excellent starting point to repeat next weekend.
Vivacqua already scored his maiden win in the series and two third places earlier this season. Both Iorio and Laaksonen also stepped onto the podium once with their Campos Racing-entered Dallara cars. On his F.3 debut at Silverstone, Das made an excellent impression and looks to improve on Italian soil.
Track action begins on Thursday with private test sessions and then Friday will be devoted to free practice sessions. Saturday will feature Q1 at 10.50 (CET) and race 1 at 15.15 (CET). On Sunday, Q2 is scheduled at 9.35 (CET) and race 2 will get underway at 13.15 (CET).
