Hong Kong’s driver made it to the finish in his Campos Racing-run Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1 in Macau Guia race
Hong Kong’s Po Wah Wong completed his Macau race weekend debut in the World Touring Car Championship. Wah Wong drove a solid Opening race to cross the finish line in 12th place.
The Asian driver hit the track for the first time on Thursday. Despite he didn’t take part in the qualifying practice, he was allowed to start from the back of the grid. As mentioned above, Wah Wong finished 12th in the Opening race, which was red-flagged after five laps following a pile-up on lap five. The Campos Racing driver was a non-starter during Sunday’s rain-marred Main race.
The final round of the season will take place at the Losal International Circuit of Qatar with its traditional, spectacular night races in two weeks’ time.
