Germany´s Nick Heidfeld and Sweden´s Felix Rosenqvist are ready for round 3 of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E season at the wheel of their Campos Racing-run M3ELECTRO cars
Campos Racing is back in racing action this weekend in Buenos Aires as the FIA Formula E season resumes in the Argentine capital. The Buenos Aires ePrix makes up round three of the 2016/17 FIA Formula E season and the Alzira-based team will enter its M3ELECTRO cars racing under Mahindra Racing banner for Nick Heidfeld and Felix Rosenqvist.
German “Quick” Heidfeld and Swedish Rosenqvist already stepped onto the podium in Hong Kong and Marrakech respectively. Heidfeld claimed third place in the inaugural Formula E race in Asia and then, on African soil, Rosenqvist also secured third place on the rostrum following his maiden pole position in qualifying. In the drivers´ championship Rosenqvist and Heidfeld sit fourth and sixth on 19 and 17 points respectively. On the other hand, Mahindra Racing lies third in the overall standings.
The “Circuito de Puerto Madero” track is a good length at nearly two and half kilometers and features 12 turns running anticlockwise.
Racing program will take place on Saturday with qualifying and Super Pole scheduled at 12.00 and 12.45, local time, respectively. The Buenos Aires ePrix will get underway at 16.00.
