Mahindra Racing optimistic ahead of Berlin e.Prix

Rosenqvist and Heidfeld target repeat last year’s success as the duo of Mahindra Racing achieved a race win and two other podium finishes in their M3ELECTRO cars

Mahindra Racing, whose M4ELECTRO cars are run in collaboration with QEV Technologies – in which Campos Racing forms part of the shareholding also provides its staff and technology-, will contest Round 9 of the 2017-18 Formula E season next Saturday. The Tempelholf Airport Street Circuit will host another exciting race of the all-electric FIA-sanctioned series.

The 2.469 km anti-clockwise circuit features 17 turns and is characterized by many corners in quick succession, so it’s easy to make mistakes. The layout runs close to the canopy roof of the Berlin’s Tempelholf Airport. Sweden driver Felix Rosenqvist scored an impressive win in race 1 and then bringing second place finish home in race two last year. Germany’s Nick Heidfeld also stepped onto the podium at the same weekend, a nice starting point for the event ahead.

Rosenqvist sits third on 86 points in the Drivers’ Standings and Mahindra Racing lies fourth on 107 points in the Teams’ Standings.

The Berlin e.Prix is scheduled at 18.03 (CET) on Saturday.
