Mahindra Racing aims to finish Formula E in style in Montreal

India’s team, whose cars driven by Rosenqvist and Heidfeld are run in collaboration with Campos Racing, aims to continue its podium streak

The FIA-sanctioned all-electric Formula E series will head to Montreal (Canada) for another thrilling double-header weekend, which will bring the 2016-17 season to an end. Mahindra Racing Formula E Team, whose cars are run in collaboration with Campos Racing, and their duo of Felix Rosenqvist and Nick Heidfeld have achieved an impressive 7-podium streak and it makes them favourite for series’ season finale.

Sweden’s Rosenqvist and Germany’s Heidfeld have reached the podium seven times in the last seven races in Monte Carlo, Paris, Berlin and New York City. Rosenqvist scored his maiden race win in the series in Berlin and came second in race 2, repeating another second place on American soil. On the other hand, Heidfeld has five 3rd places to his credit so far in the FIA Formula E. Rosenqvist currently sits third on 104 points and Heidfeld lies 6th on 78 points. Mahindra Racing sits third in the Teams’ standings with a total of 182 points.

The circuit, along the banks of St. Lawrence River, consists of 14 turns and wins its way along Rue Viger E and past Maison Radio-Canada launching from the start-ine on Boulevard Rene-Levesque E.

Both races are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday respectively at 16.00 (local time).
