After achieving a resounding race win at Circuito de Jerez on Sunday, Tereschenko lies first in the EF Open drivers´ championship. Menchaca, Baptista and Al Ghanem have also the potential to be front runners on French soil.
Second Euroformula Open round and Campos Racing and one of its drivers, Russia´s Konstantin Tereschenko, lie fist in the overall classification. Tereschenko´s pace was unmatched on Sunday and he claimed his maiden race win in the series, pole position and fastest lap. So Tereschenko is first on 35 points, two ahead of Alessio Rovera.
Paul Ricard, hosting a Winter Series event earlier this year, may be a favorable scenario for strengthening Tereschenko´s lead and, for his teammates Diego Menchaca and Henrique Baptista, fighting for their first overall podium finish. Ahmed Al Ghanem, as Menchaca already claiming a podium finish among rookies in Jerez, will have another chance to gain more experience but not ruling out any surprise taking into account how quick his adaptation to F3 racing was.
Free practice sessions will take place on Friday, with both races on Saturday (15.00) and Sunday (13.00) preceded by their respective qualifying sessions.
