Heading into the penultimate round of the Euroformula Open this weekend, Italian Leonardo Pulcini and Campos Racing come close to sealing an extremely valuable title in the series. Pulcini sits first in the Drivers´ standings on 242 points heading into the final two rounds taking place in the Iberian Peninsula at Circuito de Jerez and at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

It is being a near perfect season for the Alzira-based team and Pulcini through six of eight rounds this season in Portugal, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Austria and Italy. At the moment, Pulcini has six wins to his credit and celebrated a double triumph weekend at his home round at Monza. Besides, he stepped onto the podium ten times throughout the season.

Mexican Diego Menchaca lies fourth in the standings after four podium finishes and he is also delivering excellent performances behind the wheel of his Campos Racing Dallara F312. Menchaca, in his second season in the Formula 3-based series, has established himself as a regular podium contender and focuses on protecting his chances of a top-3 overall position in the Drivers´ standings.

Ecuador´s Julio Moreno and Azerbaijan´s Gulhuseyn Adbullayev expect another positive outcome and they both keep points in their sights.

Jerez always brings Campos Racing back good memories and Russia´s Konstantin Tereschenko took a dominant race win last year.
