Hugo Valente has made it into Q3 during today´s World Touring Car Championship qualifying session, and the only one matching Citroën´s pace in the Moroccan races. The driver of Campos Racing debuts new engine and it proved to be a step forward in Q1 and Q2, where the Frenchman came 2nd behind José María López. He wasn´t able to set a lap in Q3 but, anyway, he was demoted to back of the grid due to engine change. Valente will start on row seven tomorrow.
The Chevrolet driven by John Filippi will start 13th as he had a drop of 5 grid places after causing a collision in Argentina. Filippi will be alongside his teammate Valente (14th) on the grid.
Both races tomorrow start at 16.15 and 17.30.
