Campos Racing will field two Dallara F312 cars for Deledda and Lundqvist, who will get the first on-track taste of the Euroformula F3 Open
Campos Racing will take part in the first round of the Euroformula F3 Open’s Winter Series, which will be hosted at the Circuit Paul Ricard. The Alzira-based team will run two Dallara F312 cars for Alessio Deledda and Linus Lundqvist, they both making their first appearance in the series.
Deledda was named as new Campos Racing’s signing for the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship earlier this week and the Italian driver heads to France seeking to gain experience in the international scene.
Swedish racing driver and reigning BRDC British F3 Champion Lundqvist will also defend Campos Racing colors coming into the weekend. Lundqvist took the British F3 title last year after a successful career in his home country by winning the Formula STCC Nordic and the Formula STCC NEZ Championship in 2016.
Friday is devoted to testing with four 52-minute long sessions throughout the day. Following a final test session on Saturday morning, there are scheduled one qualifying session (11.00 CET) and two races (15.00 and 17.25 CET) later.
