Alex Peroni, Sebas Fernández and Alessio Deledda carried out the inaugural collective test of the series in Le Castellet
Campos Racing and its three-driver line-up completed the first preseason test of the FIA Formula 3 at the Circuit Paul Ricard. Sebas Fernández, Alex Peroni and Alessio Deledda completed extensive mileage in their all-new Dallara F3 2019 cars throughout both days.
On Wednesday, Fernández was the fastest man of Campos Racing by setting a lap time of 1m49.793s with his teammate Peroni producing a best effort of 1m50.014s. Deledda, who also made progress every time he hit the track, clocked a time of 1m51.660s. The three cars racing under the Campos Racing banner did more than 130 laps.
On Thursday, our drivers managed to improve their lap times and Peroni spearheaded the charge with his 1m49.251s posted in the morning session. Sebas Fernández also managed to break the 1:50 barrier clocking a lap time of 1m49.623s. Unlike their teammates, Deledda’s best time came in the afternoon with a lap of 1m50.914s. They completed 150 laps on this second day.
FIA Formula 3 Championship’s preseason testing will continue at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 9-10 April.
