Campos Racing resumes the FIA F3 season in high spirits

All set for the challenge in the Belgian Ardennes with Deledda, Fernández and Peroni driving the three Campos Racing-entered Dallara cars

The FIA Formula 3 resumes this weekend with the sixth round of the 2019 season to be held at Spa-Francorchamps, the Belgian rollercoaster in the Ardennes. Campos Racing will enter its three-car assault for Alessio Deledda, Sebas Fernández and Alex Peroni. Campos Racing drivers are willing to kick off the final part of the season in style.

Peroni already secured two points-paying finishes at Paul Ricard and Silverstone and the Australian driver is looking forward to completing a strong weekend in Belgium. Fernández and Deledda are also aiming to come off a good result at Spa-Francorchamps, one of the most challenging race tracks on the calendar to drive on.

Spa is a circuit that requires a medium downforce set-up and good mechanical grip. From a tire point of view, the Belgian track is smoother than others but at the same time there are plenty of high-speed areas with remarkable lateral forces. Last but not least, changeable weather conditions usually play a key role and teams must take a big gamble to success.

Friday’s free practice and qualifying sessions will take place at 09.35 and 17.50. Race 1 is scheduled at 10.35 on Saturday with Sunday bringing the curtain down with race 2 at 09.45. All times are local (GMT+2).
