The second part of the Euroformula F3 Open kicks off at Silverstone next weekend with Siebert, Karkosik and Baltas driving the Campos Racing’s Dallara cars
After a long summer break, the second part of the Euroformula F3 Open starts at Silverstone next weekend. Campos Racing is completing a positive season with a three-car assault for Marcos Siebert, Alex Karkosik and Yves Baltas. They all have stepped onto the podium at previous rounds.
Argentinean Siebert sits fourth in the Drivers’ standings with a maiden F3 win at Estoril and then two podium finishes at the Hungaroring before the summer break. Poland’s Karkosik has also achieved a podium finish in his Campos Racing Dallara at Spa-Francorchamps and was a strong contender for the rostrum in Budapest as well. American Baltas concluded the first part of the season on a high with a seventh place at the Hungaroring. Last but not least, Baltas occupies the fifth place in the Rookies’ class with two podiums to his name.
Campos Racing has finished on the podium at almost every visit to Silverstone since 2014. The British circuit features many fast, sweeping corners and it’s fairly challenging for the drivers as it’s easy to make mistakes.
Race 1 is scheduled on Saturday at 14.15 (GMT) with race 2 on Sunday at 12.45 (GMT).
