The Spain-based racing team will attend a three-day test at Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo with five different racing drivers
Campos Racing will start its post-season testing for the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship season this Sunday as the feeder series has scheduled a three-day collective test at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo.
The Spanish outfit will run their three Dallara F3 2019 cars for five young aces. Italian Alessio Deledda, who has contested a full-season programme with Campos Racing in the FIA Formula 3 this year, will be joined by Japanese Yu Kanamaru – a regular podium visitor in his Euroformula days and more recently a front-runner in the Japanese F3 Championship– and Spaniard David Vidales, represented by Monaco Increase Management, on Sunday.
On Monday, two other drivers will join Deledda for another fruitful testing day: Swede Linus Lundqvist and Briton Enaam Ahmed. Lundqvist won the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship in 2018 and made his debut in the Euroformula Open this year, in which this young ace score several podiums, pole positions and fastest laps. Ahmed, a British driver of Pakistani descent, is also a former BRDC Formula 3 Champion as he took the title in 2017. More recently, he was a race winner in the Japanese Formula 3 series.
The final day of testing will see Deledda, Vidales and Ahmed driving the cars in Campos Racing colors.
It will be an excellent opportunity for Campos Racing to race in Valencia, only a few kilometers away from its facilities.
