The Spain-based team and its drivers posted competitive lap times during the collective three-day test in Cheste
FIA Formula 3’s post-season testing came to an end today at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo in Cheste. Campos Racing successfully carried out the three days of testing at its home circuit with David Vidales, Alessio Deledda, Linus Lundqvist, Enaam Ahmed and Yu Kanamaru driving its Dallara F3 2019 cars. They all managed to test in dry and wet conditions, which drawn positive conclusions.
Japanase Kanamaru and Vidales, who is represented by Monaco Increase Management, made their debut in the car on Sunday with the Spaniard immediately making an impression with his quick adaptation period to such a powerful car. On Monday, Briton Ahmed spearheaded the Campos Racing charge in fifth place and both Kanamaru and Swede Lundqvist secured a top-11 in the timesheets. Vidales was back at the wheel today and showed excellent progress which brings optimism for the future.
