Leonardo Pulcini, Marino Sato, Ralf Aron, Sebastián Fernández and Jack Aitken carried out the three-day collective test with the Spain based racing team
Campos Vexatec Racing completed a FIA Formula 2 successful collective tested hosted at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, the same place where their drivers scored a double podium finish last weekend. Campos Vexatec Racing and their drivers posted competitive lap times and simulations with everybody worked well together.
On Thursday, Ralf Aron and Marino Sato drove both Dallara F2 2018 machineries. After completing more than 100 laps, Aron clocked a time of 1m51.731s with Japanese Sato producing a best lap of 1m52.250s.
On day 2, Aron and Sato handed over to Leonardo Pulcini – who was a Campos Racing drivers in the GP3 Series this season– and Sebastián Fernández. Pulcini finished 5th-fastest in the morning setting a best lap of 1m50.685s at the end of the day. On the other hand, Fernández scored a personal best lap of 1m51.253s.
On the final day, Sato joined the Campos Vexatec Racing driver line-up again teaming up with Briton Jack Aitken. The latter finished 7th in the timesheets with a lap time of 1m50.553s and Sato lapped faster than on Thursday with his 1m51.202s.
