Campos Racing is pleased to announce that Nerea Martí will join its three-car assault for the 2023 F1 Academy season. The Spaniard driver is a strong addition to our driver line-up and she is a young ace with great potential to fight for top honors.

Martí, aged 21, contested the 2017 Spanish Championship in Junior class before moving up to X30 Senior in 2019. Later that season, she made her debut in the F4 Spain and achieved her first podium in the season’s opener round. Martí joined the W Series Academy for 2021 and immediately the Spanish racer put herself in title contention. She finished in the top-8 in all the rounds with a 3rd place at the Hungaroring as her season’s high to finish 4th in the standings. Martí took part again in the W Series last year and snatched her first pole position in Miami, where she also stepped onto the rostrum in third place and repeated the same results at Paul Ricard.

The F1 Academy will consist of seven events with three races each, and it is set to be launched in due course. With each team entering three cars, it will make up a 15-car grid with Tatuus T421 machinery powered by Autotecnica engines.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Camps Racing): “We are proud to have Nerea (Martí) for the first season of F1 Academy. She has regularly been one of the most competitive female drivers in the last seasons, I am sure we will manage to achieve strong results together. It’s exciting to have a driver from Valencia at a Valencian team and fighting for an international championship. Nerea has enjoyed the support of Formula de Campeones and the Circuit de Valencia Ricardo Tormo since she embarked on her single-seater career and we hope she will have their support to continue making progress at the highest international level.”

Nerea Martí (Driver of Campos Racing in F1 Academy): “I’m extremely happy joining Campos Racing for the very first season of F1 Academy. It provides an excellent new opportunity to continue taking steps forward in my racing career and I have no doubts that together I and Campos Racing will manage to meet all our goals.”
