Campos Racing recruits Lola Lovinfosse for 2023 F1 Academy season

The French driver is another strong addition to the roster for the inaugural F1 Academy season

Campos Racing is pleased to announce that Lola Lovinfosse is joining its driver lineup for the first season of the F1 Academy. Lovinfosse will drive a Campos Racing-entered Tatuus-Alfa Romeo car alongside Nerea Martí with another driver still to be announced shortly.

Lovinfosse was born in Rouen (France) on October 17, 2005 and made her karting debut in 2018 in the IAME Winter Cup. The young French gun moved up to OK class in 2019 and took part in the famous Trofeo delle industrie securing a top-ten finish. She also finished 8th in the Trofeo Andrea Margutti later that year. After competing at the highest level in karting, Lovinfosse stepped up to single-seater racing in 2021, when she made her debut in the F4 Spain Championship. She spent two seasons in the Formula 4-based racing series showing solid, fast learning process in her results. The F1 Academy will be another challenge for Lovinfosse competing on the best circuits across Europe.

The 2023 season will kick off at Red Bull Ring on 28-29 April before heading to Spain for a double home round for Campos Racing: Valencia (5-7 May) and Barcelona (19-21 May). Zandvoort, which hosts the Dutch F1 Grand Prix, will mark the halfway point on 23-25 June. Monza’s Temple of Speed will host the fifth rounds of the season with a final event on European soil, which is scheduled in Le Castellet on 29-30 July. The season finale is scheduled in Austin on 20-22 October.
