The American driver delivered an excellent rookie season in single-seaters, finishing inside the top three among newcomers and claiming an overall podium in the season finale. Kanthan will defend the colors of Griffin Core by Campos next year
Campos Racing is proud to announce that Vivek Kanthan will remain on the F4 Spain grid for the upcoming campaign, competing under the banner of Griffin Core by Campos, the reigning champions in both the drivers’ and teams’ standings.
Kanthan, born in New York City sixteen years ago, enjoyed a standout debut year in single-seater competition throughout 2025. During the Winter Series held earlier in the year, Kanthan secured fifth overall, collecting three second-place finishes and one third. It proved to be a preview of what was to come in the main F4 Spain championship from March onwards, where Kanthan established himself among the frontrunners on merit. He finished inside the top eight on thirteen occasions—including an impressive overall second place in the season finale at Barcelona—along with a long list of podium results in the rookie classification. These performances allowed him to secure third place among rookies and ninth in the overall standings.
Griffin Core by Campos claimed both the drivers’ title—with a stellar Thomas Strauven dominating throughout—and the teams’ championship in a season that concluded only recently at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Kanthan becomes the first driver announced by Griffin Core by Campos for 2026, while Campos Racing has already confirmed Jacob Micallef and Luna Fluxá for next season.
Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “We are pleased to continue working with Vivek for another season. In his first year in single-seaters he has shown tremendous potential and the ability to keep improving, as demonstrated by his first overall podium at the end of the year. With a full season of experience under his belt and the natural talent he possesses, I am convinced he will be one of the standout contenders in 2026.”
Vivek Kanthan (Griffin Core by Campos Driver in F4 Spain): “I am excited to continue with Campos Racing for the 2026 F4 Spain season. My rookie season with the team has been very promising, and now I want to build on all the experience gained to achieve even stronger results next year!”
