The Maltese driver, who will complete his maiden full-season in single-seaters with the Alzira-based team, is another young and emerging talent who has so far built his racing career in karting
Campos Racing is delighted to welcome Jacob Micallef, who will join the team to contest the upcoming 2026 F4 Spain season. For the Maltese driver, it will mark his first venture into single-seater racing, proudly defending Campos Racing’s colors.
Micallef, who recently turned sixteen, is set to take the next step in his career by entering one of the most competitive and demanding F4 championships in the global motorsport scene — and at the same time an excellent training ground for young drivers. The Maltese talent has competed in leading karting categories such as OK Junior, Junior ROK, and OK, at national, European, and world levels. Most recently, he finished third overall in the FIA European Championship held in Viterbo earlier this year.
Campos Racing will announce further details about its 2026 F4 Spain driver line-up in the coming weeks.
Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “On behalf of the entire team, I want to extend a very warm welcome to Jacob at Campos Racing. He’s a very talented driver with impressive results in karting and is at the perfect stage to make the step up to single-seaters. We’re already working closely together to ensure his transition to F4 is as smooth and effective as possible, and we’re looking forward to achieving great results together.”
Jacob Micallef (Campos Racing driver in F4 Spain): “I’m delighted to be joining Campos Racing to compete in the 2026 F4 Spain season and to become part of the team’s family and amazing history. It’s going to feel incredibly special to represent Malta in an FIA F4 championship, and I’m eager to fly my country’s flag to the top of motorsport. I want to thank Campos Racing, my family, and everyone in my team for their support and effort in making this racing program possible.”
