The American driver becomes the final addition to Campos Racing’s roster for the upcoming FIA Formula 3 campaign, joining Théophile Naël and Ernesto Rivera in a line-up that combines talent, experience and youth
Campos Racing is delighted to announce that Ugo Ugochukwu will join its FIA Formula 3 squad for the 2026 season, in which the Alzira-based outfit will compete as the reigning Teams’ Champion. Ugochukwu now completes the driver line-up alongside Frenchman Théophile Naël and Mexican Ernesto Rivera, forming a youthful trio brimming with skill and potential.
Born in New York on April 23, 2007, Ugochukwu began competing at a very young age, first in the United States before moving to Europe. His early success was remarkable, collecting five championship titles and five runner-up finishes across some of the most competitive international karting series.
He stepped up to single-seaters in 2022, immediately impressing with a third place in the British F4 Championship. He followed this up with another third-place finish in F4 UAE and the runner-up spot in Italian F4. In 2023, Ugochukwu clinched his first single-seater title in the Euro 4 Championship before going on to take a prestigious victory at the Macau Grand Prix the following year. Over the course of four seasons in various junior categories, Ugochukwu has amassed sixteen wins and sixty podium finishes, including two in his FIA Formula 3 debut campaign, underlining his outstanding potential.
The official FIA Formula 3 post-season collective tests will take place in Jerez (October 7–8), Barcelona (October 15–16) and Imola (October 21–22), laying the foundations for the team’s preparation ahead of the 2026 season.
