Campos Racing is pleased to announce the signing of 16-year-old Hunter Yeany, who will contest his first full-season on the European motorsport scene. Yeany is joined at Campos Racing by Spaniard Pepe Martí with another driver still to be announced in due time. The driver line-up is expected to be extremely young but talented at the same time.

Yeany is an American rising star with huge success in his home country. The Virginia Beach-native made an impression by taking the Formula 4 United States Championship title in dominant style. Yeany claimed seven wins and 14 podiums from 15 races and he was also the youngest ever winner of a Formula 4-based racing series. After competing in other single-seater championships with excellent results, Yeany is ready for the FIA F3 Championship challenge. The new signing of Campos Racing already carried out a fruitful testing with his new team at the end of 2021.

The FIA Formula 3 Championship has scheduled a three-day test in Sakhir on 2-4 March, two weeks before the season opener on the same circuit, and two other collective testing in Jerez (5-6 April) and Barcelona (15-16 April) ahead of the first event on European soil staged at Imola on 22-24 April.

Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Sporting Director): “I should like to extend a warm welcome aboard to another young driver as Hunter. Probably alongside Pepe they are the youngest drivers in the field but we perfectly know how talented he is. We will do our utmost to help him quickly improve in such competitive racing series and we are sure Hunter will reach his full potential.”

Hunter Yeany (Campos Racing driver of FIA Formula 3): “I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be doing the full season of FIA F3 with Campos Racing. I would like to thank Campos Racing for the opportunity and my family and friends for their support.”
