Griffin Core by Campos is pleased to announce Thomas Strauven as one of its drivers for the upcoming Eurocup-3 season. The promising Belgian talent thus becomes the first name confirmed by the Alzira squad for this continental championship, which will introduce major changes next year, including the new Dallara 326 chassis powered by Toyota engines.

Strauven, born in Genk and aged 17, continues his steady rise through the single-seater ranks after being crowned F4 Spain champion in the 2025 season, now drawing to a close. The outstanding partnership between driver and team resulted in a truly dream campaign, with the Belgian claiming an impressive ten victories, four second places and three thirds, scoring points in a further two races and finishing outside the points just once in the 21 races contested. Without doubt, an outstanding calling card for Strauven, who takes on this new challenge carrying the label of one of the great hopes of Belgian motorsport for the years to come.

As previously noted, the championship will introduce the brand-new Dallara 326 chassis, replacing the Tatuus F3 T-318 used in recent seasons. In addition, Toyota will become the engine supplier with a 1.6-litre power unit, taking over from Alfa Romeo. Over the past three seasons, Campos Racing has secured two drivers’ titles and one teams’ championship with the Tatuus–Alfa Romeo package.

The season will get underway at Le Castellet on 2–3 May, before moving on to the Algarve on 6–7 June and then heading to Italy for back-to-back rounds at Imola (4–5 July) and Monza (1–2 August). The venue for the fifth round, scheduled for 8–9 August, has yet to be announced. The championship will resume at Silverstone on 12–13 September and then travel to the Hungaroring on 24–25 October. The curtain will fall on the 2026 season at the traditional finale in Barcelona, on the weekend of 7–8 November.

Adrián Campos (Team Principal of Campos Racing): “It is excellent news to have Thomas with us for next season’s Eurocup-3. The way he clinched the F4 Spain title was impeccable, one for the history books in terms of victories and podium finishes, and almost doubling the points tally of his closest rival. He is perfectly prepared for this new challenge ahead, which will be a step into the unknown for everyone as we introduce the new Dallara 326–Toyota car. We are delighted to continue working with him and very much looking forward to extending our successful record together.”

Thomas Strauven (Griffin Core by Campos Eurocup-3 driver): “I am very happy to continue with Griffin Core by Campos next year in Eurocup-3. After a great year together, continuing to progress with the same team is the ideal decision. I am excited about the challenge ahead and motivated to keep learning and improving. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me in this project and make it possible.”
