The Alzira-based team enjoyed an outstanding weekend on Andalusian soil. Tarnvanichkul steered his Campos Racing car to victory in Race 1 ahead of teammate Caranta. On Sunday, Sztuka secured second place for Griffin Core by Campos, while Rivera completed the podium for Campos Racing. In addition, Macedo also climbed onto the rookie podium

Eurocup-3’s visit to Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto, host of the penultimate round of the 2025 season, delivered excellent results for Campos Racing and Griffin Core by Campos drivers. Enzo Tarnvanichkul, a Red Bull Junior Team driver, claimed his maiden victory in the series on Cadiz soil, with teammate Jules Caranta completing a 1–2 finish for Campos Racing both overall and in the rookies’ classification.
On Sunday it was Polish driver Kacper Sztuka’s turn, bringing home second place in Race 2 for Griffin Core by Campos, while Ernesto Rivera secured third for Campos Racing. Francisco Macedo, fifth, also finished third on the rookie podium. Jesse Carrasquedo Jr. added points for the overall standings on Saturday.
In Saturday morning’s free practice, Sztuka was the top Griffin Core by Campos representative on the timesheets with a 1m37.404s lap. For Campos Racing, the honor went to Tarnvanichkul with a best effort of 1m37.754s. At midday came Q1, which would decide the grid for the afternoon’s race. Caranta set a 1m37.944s lap that initially looked difficult to beat. However, both Sztuka and Tarnvanichkul proved that prediction wrong. The Pole pulled out a stunning 1m37.885s lap that earned him pole position and the extra two points, but a five-place grid penalty carried over from Spa-Francorchamps dropped him to sixth. That handed pole to Tarnvanichkul with his 1m37.911s lap, just 0.033s quicker than Caranta’s. With Sztuka in sixth, Carrasquedo lined up ninth thanks to a 1m38.537s lap. Rivera and Macedo both had two and three laps deleted respectively, forcing them to start 12th and 14th
That afternoon’s race, held in track temperatures above 40ºC, quickly became a two-man show for the Campos Racing duo once the lights went out. Unfortunately, on the opening lap, Sztuka was hit and ran into the gravel, dropping to the back. The safety car, deployed for another incident on lap one, pulled in on lap three. From then on, Tarnvanichkul and Caranta steadily pulled away from the rest. After 30 minutes of racing, covering 18 laps, Tarnvanichkul crossed the line as race winner just two tenths ahead of Caranta, who equaled his best result in the series. Carrasquedo finished seventh, adding more points to his tally, while Portuguese driver Macedo was 13th, just ahead of Sztuka, who recovered many positions after his early off. Rivera was forced to retire on lap 12.
Sunday began with the second qualifying session early in the morning. In another extremely tight Q2, Sztuka missed out on pole by a few thousandths. The Pole posted a 1m36.708s, just half a tenth off pole. Rivera produced a great final effort to line up fourth with a 1m36.771s lap. Macedo impressed with sixth place thanks to a 1m36.806s lap. Caranta and Carrasquedo also qualified inside the top 10, the Frenchman with a 1m37.041s and the Mexican with a 1m37.128s. Tarnvanichkul had less fortune this time and, with a three-place grid penalty for a Q2 infringement, was relegated to 17th.
Unlike Saturday’s contest, Sunday’s race ran uninterrupted from lights to flag. Sztuka maintained the lead at the start, with Rivera right behind in third. Macedo also settled into the top five after lap one, while Caranta was eighth. Further back, Carrasquedo and Tarnvanichkul ran together. Sztuka stayed close to race leader Mattia Colnaghi for most of the race. After 20 laps, the Griffin Core by Campos driver secured second place, with Rivera completing the podium in third. Macedo crossed the line in fifth, third among rookies, while Caranta finished eighth. Tarnvanichkul fought his way up to 12th, while Carrasquedo was forced into the pits after contact with another driver and rejoined at the back.
Rivera and Sztuka sit third and fourth in the championship with 176 and 162 points respectively, with Carrasquedo rounding out the top five on 135. Caranta climbs to sixth on 103, while Tarnvanichkul also gains momentum in eighth on 95. Macedo is 14th with 35 points. In the teams’ standings, Campos Racing hold second place on 346 points, with Griffin Core by Campos third on 315.
The championship’s eighth and final round of 2025 will take place at Circuit de Barcelona – Catalunya on November 15–16.
Enzo Tarnvanichkul (Campos Racing driver in Eurocup-3): “I’m quite happy with the weekend overall, despite having mixed results. I think on Saturday we show very strong pace and good execution. Bring home a victory made it feel even better! Sunday gave me mixed feelings, but nevertheless i think we shouldn’t overlook Saturday. I want to thank the team and all the people that make it possible to go race!”
Kacper Sztuka (Griffin Core by Campos driver in Eurocup-3): “This weekend we showed great pace with a pole position in Q1 and second place in Q2. Although Race 1 wasn’t our best performance, we came back much stronger on Sunday to secure a great podium.”
