The young German racer joins previously announced Christian Ho and Suleiman Zanfari to drive another Campos Racing-run Tatuus F3 T-318 car throughout the upcoming season.

Kluss, aged 16, was born in Bad Mergenthein (Baden-Württemberg) and made his debut in karting back in 2015 taking part in a championship organized in his hometown. He made progress by competing in the Rotax Max Challenge Germany in Micro, Mini Max, Junior Max and Junior. His rapid progression saw him to finish 1st in the Rotax Max Challenge Germany – Junior and, at the same time, the young talent also finished third in the European series. Kluss also won the 2021 ADAC Kart Masters – OK Junior before stepping up to single-seater racing in 2022.

The new signing of Campos Racing entered the Italian and German Formula 4-based series in his first year of single-seater racing. Kluss immediately secured his maiden podium in the German F4 Championship. Kluss entered selected rounds of the Italian F4 Championship and the Spanish F4 Championship last year before making his debut in the Formula Regional European Championship at the end of the 2023 season. The German racer will be eying to take still more success in the Eurocup-3 partnering with Campos Racing.

The 2024 Eurocup-3 season will consist of eight double-header events, three in Spain and five abroad. The season will kick off at Spa-Francorchamps (19-20 April) and later visiting F1-rated circuits such as Red Bull Ring (17-19 May), Algarve (7-9 June), Paul Ricard (5-7 July) and Zandvoort (13-14 July). The busy month of July will come to an end at Motorland Aragón on 26-28 July, just before the summer break. The season will resume in Jerez (27-29 September) and Barcelona will bring the curtain down on 8-10 November.

Adrián Campos (Campos Racing Team Principal): “It’s a pleasure to welcome Valentin as we think he is a driver of a huge potential and a brilliant future ahead. As the defending champions in Eurocup-3, Campos Racing is working to build up the strongest driver line-up available. And Valentin is a great addition in this respect alongside Christian and Suleiman. We are looking forward to starting the new season.”
